A national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen its Intellectual Property litigation and healthcare/life sciences practice in Silicon Valley. The role will focus on leading complex IP disputes, counseling healthcare and life‑sciences clients on litigation risk, and developing new client relationships in the region.

The partner will manage teams of associates, take a leading role in case strategy and courtroom advocacy, and work alongside transactional and regulatory colleagues on cross‑discipline matters. The position is client-facing and requires active business development to grow the local practice.

Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
Established track record in IP litigation with experience in high‑stakes patent and related disputes
Significant healthcare or life‑sciences industry experience advising clients on litigation strategy
Proven ability to originate and develop client relationships and to lead teams
Bar admission and credentials appropriate for practice in the Silicon Valley market
