Leveraged/Debt Finance Lateral Partner – Americas

Our client, an elite global law firm with a single, fully integrated partnership, is expanding its Finance & Banking practice across the United States. As part of a broader private-capital buildout spanning funds, private equity, debt finance, and private credit, this search seeks an established leveraged finance / debt finance partner to join and help grow the platform in the Americas.

• Role: Partner-level lateral hire in leveraged finance / debt finance within the Finance & Banking practice.
• Location: All US states and DC; preferred hubs include New York, Washington DC, and Houston. Exceptional candidates based elsewhere will be considered.
• Opportunity: Join a committed US growth strategy where approximately one-third of US partners are laterals. The firm invests in integration—each lateral partner receives dedicated support from a partner-level integration manager for 12 months, and laterals work collaboratively across product groups and sectors.
• Ideal profile: A partner with a strong client following and a desire to build relationships, deepen existing books, and leverage global resources. The firm values team moves—arriving with a team of associates or counsel is a plus—and expects a collaborative, 'hunt in packs' approach rather than a standalone book.
