Seeking a partner to join and grow a Life Sciences & Technology practice in the Hartford office of a leading US firm. The role will be client-facing and business-development focused, handling transactional, licensing and commercial matters for life sciences and technology companies.

The successful candidate will lead engagements, manage and mentor junior lawyers, and work across practices on complex, interdisciplinary matters. A portable practice is required; the firm is looking for someone who can contribute existing client relationships and new business momentum.

Established partner-level experience advising life sciences and/or technology companies on commercial, licensing, and transactional matters.
Demonstrated business-development ability and a portable client base appropriate to a partner hire.
Track record of leading deal teams and supervising associates.
Strong negotiation, drafting and client-management skills; admission to practice in the relevant US jurisdiction preferred.
