Leading law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Northern Virginia office to lead and expand a patent litigation practice. The role focuses on high-stakes patent disputes and related IP litigation, with regular collaboration across finance and structured‑finance teams on matters that touch transactional and commercial issues.

The position requires a partner who can manage complex litigation, supervise associates, and drive client relationships and business development. The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑practice teams to deliver integrated legal solutions for sophisticated corporate clients.

• Proven experience leading patent litigation matters and trying cases to verdict or favorable resolution
• Strong record of business development and client relationship management
• Experience supervising teams and managing high‑value, complex matters
• Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s)
• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
