Established, national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Long Island office to lead and expand a construction-focused real estate litigation practice. The role involves handling complex commercial and construction disputes, managing trials and hearings, and advising institutional and private clients on project- and property-related conflicts.

The partner will join a multi-office team and be expected to grow a portable practice through client development while mentoring junior lawyers and collaborating across practice groups. This is an opportunity to take a visible leadership role on construction and commercial litigation matters within a sizable US firm platform.

  • Proven partner-level experience in construction and real estate litigation, including trial and arbitration exposure
  • Track record of handling complex commercial disputes and construction defect/contract matters
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships and grow a portable practice
  • Strong drafting, advocacy and team leadership skills; experience mentoring associates
  • Admission to the relevant state bar and eligibility to practice in New York
