Leading German restructuring practice is looking to add a lateral partner to its Düsseldorf team to lead insolvency and turnaround mandates. The role will involve advising creditors, debtors and stakeholders on complex insolvency proceedings, distressed M&A and cross-border restructurings.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for business development and team leadership within the office, working closely with colleagues across Germany and internationally on multi-jurisdictional matters. The team offers access to high‑profile restructuring work and institutional client relationships.

Established partner-level experience in insolvency, restructuring and distressed transactions.
Proven track record of originating and managing complex restructuring mandates; a portable practice is welcome.
Admitted to practise in Germany; strong commercial and client-management skills.
Fluent German and English, for client-facing and cross-border work.
