Lateral Partner, Restructuring — Washington D.C.

Senior partner appointment for a restructuring/insolvency practice within a major U.S. law firm’s Washington D.C. office. The role will lead client engagements across financial restructuring, workouts and distressed situations, working with cross‑discipline teams.

The partner will manage matter strategy, supervise associates and collaborate with finance and litigation colleagues to deliver client solutions. There is a strong emphasis on originating and cultivating client relationships and growing the practice locally and nationally.

The team seeks a seasoned restructuring lawyer comfortable handling complex creditor and debtor representations, court‑driven processes and out‑of‑court restructurings.

• Proven partner-level restructuring experience with substantial lead matters
• Strong track record of originating and developing client relationships
• Ability to manage teams and mentor junior lawyers
• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction (D.C. or eligible to be admitted)
• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
