Partner, Bankruptcy & Restructuring — Washington, D.C.

Established national litigation firm is building its bankruptcy and restructuring platform in Washington, D.C. The opening is for an experienced partner to lead and expand a mixed bankruptcy practice that combines contested insolvency litigation with restructuring and some transactional work.

The role offers a chance to take a visible leadership position within a growing team, work on complex creditor and debtor-side matters, and collaborate with national litigation and restructuring colleagues. The team is prioritizing growth and seeks a partner who can originate and develop business.

• Proven partner-level experience in bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring, including contested bankruptcy litigation.
• Track record of originating business or managing a portable client base; ability to grow a practice within a broader platform.
• Strong courtroom and motion practice skills, and comfort advising on transactional restructurings.
• Bar admission and standing to practice in the D.C. market (or ability to qualify).
