Leading national law firm is seeking a mid-career partner to join its Securities and Capital Markets practice in the Vancouver office. The role focuses on public-side capital markets work and client-facing lead counsel responsibilities on equity and debt offerings and related corporate securities matters.

The successful candidate will join a busy team advising issuers, underwriters and boards on transactions and regulatory matters. This is an opportunity to take a visible role in a well-established practice and to grow a market-facing securities platform.

Applicants should have an established, portable public-capital-markets practice and a track record of originating and executing public securities transactions.

Call to the bar approximately between 2000 and 2010 (roughly 15–25 years post-call) with substantial public-side securities experience
Demonstrable experience leading public equity and/or debt offerings and related securities regulatory work
Established, portable book of business appropriate for a partner role
Strong client development, pitching and team leadership skills
