Well-established national law firm is seeking a partner to join its Austin office to lead and grow a tax litigation practice. The role offers a visible platform handling contested tax matters across state and federal forums and collaborating with broader litigation and tax teams.

The position is practice-building and client-facing: the incoming partner will manage significant contested matters, develop business, and mentor junior lawyers. Portable client relationships are welcome and will be supported.

Partner-level experience in tax controversy and litigation (federal and state tax experience preferred)
Proven courtroom and/or administrative tribunal litigation record
Track record of business development; portable client relationships desirable
Strong leadership and associate-supervision skills
Bar admission in Texas (or eligibility) and ability to practice in relevant forums
