Lateral Partner — Tax & Litigation — Birmingham

Senior tax-litigation partner role for an established national firm seeking an experienced advocate to lead and grow a tax controversy and litigation practice out of its Birmingham office. The role combines courtroom and administrative representation, strategic counseling on complex tax disputes, and responsibility for originating and managing client matters.

The successful candidate will manage a team of litigators, work closely with tax specialists, and drive business development to expand the practice locally and regionally. This is a hands-on position with significant client-facing, matter-management, and revenue-generation expectations.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Proven track record in tax controversy and tax litigation matters at trial and administrative levels
• Significant partner-level experience building and managing teams and originating work
• Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction and ability to practice in federal and state forums
