Lateral Partner, Trade — Toronto

Senior hire to lead and grow a full-service trade practice in Toronto. The role focuses on cross-border and domestic trade work, including customs, trade remedies, sanctions, export controls, anti-corruption and treaty disputes (including investor–state matters).

We are looking for an entrepreneurial senior lawyer who will drive business development, manage teams on complex matters and help expand an established trade offering. Equity entry will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

• Portable book of business of CAD 1M+ (CAD)
• Established senior partner experience in international trade law and customs
• Substantive experience with trade remedies, sanctions and export controls
• Proven business development track record and ability to lead a practice group
