A highly regarded Australian law firm is seeking a Lawyer or Associate to join its growing statutory insurance — workers' compensation practice, based in its Newcastle office. This is a permanent, full-time position within a defendant insurance team of approximately 70 people across two offices.

Minimum of one year post-admission experience
Experience in personal injury claims, specifically workers' compensation for employers/insurers
Defendant-side experience preferred
Clear, concise legal writing skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service
Initiative and the ability to organise and prioritise effectively
