A highly regarded Australian law firm seeks a Lawyer or Associate to join its thriving statutory insurance workers' compensation practice in its Newcastle office. This is a defendant-side insurance team of approximately 70 people spanning two offices, offering a genuine growth role with clear career progression in a supportive environment.

Minimum of one year post-admission experience
Experience in personal injury claims, specifically workers' compensation for employers and insurers
Defendant-side experience preferred
Clear, concise legal writing skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service
Initiative and the ability to organise and prioritise effectively
