We are seeking an experienced real estate lawyer (7+ PQE) for interim consultant assignments based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. Assignments typically run for six months on a full-time basis, with some flexibility available.

You will work on a range of commercial real estate matters, including planning, development, acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, corporate support, and real estate aspects of finance transactions. Example assignments include:

Supporting the legal team of a well-established investment company, working across retail, malls, and hotels.
Advising a major regional energy supplier on infrastructure contracts, including land leases, corridor licenses, utility agreements, construction agreements, and port licences.
Handling real estate aspects of corporate deals, lending, and joint ventures for a global property development organisation.

Successful candidates will have at least four years' post-qualification experience at a top-tier firm for commercial real estate, ideally with recent in-house experience, Middle East exposure, and Arabic fluency. You should be comfortable with the consultant model, proactive in managing your own career, and hold a practising certificate (or equivalent) for the region.

Minimum 7 years' post-qualification experience in commercial real estate, including planning, development, and transactions.
Experience with property acquisitions and disposals, certificate of title review, landlord and tenant matters, and corporate support.
Familiarity with real estate aspects of finance transactions.
Ideally, recent in-house legal experience and fluency in Arabic.
Practising certificate (or equivalent) entitling you to practise in the UAE.
