Join a leading international law firm's Innovation team in London as a Legal Engineer, working at the intersection of law and applied AI. You will embed with practice teams to design, build and operationalise AI-enabled workflows and playbooks that lawyers use on real matters.

The role combines deep legal understanding with hands-on technical fluency: prototype and harden generative-AI solutions, establish quality and benchmarking standards, and partner with knowledge, product and technology teams to drive firm-wide adoption and governance.

Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent jurisdiction).
Typically 4–7 years’ post‑qualification experience at a top‑tier firm (more junior candidates with strong technical experience may be considered).
Strong commercial/transactional legal skills and credibility with fee‑earners.
Practical fluency with generative AI and AI tooling — prompt engineering, workflow design, testing and deployment.
Experience translating practice needs into reliable, productionised tools and running stakeholder engagement/training.
Ability to work collaboratively across Knowledge, Technology and Product teams and occasional flexibility on hours.
