Apply in confidence →Seeking an experienced attorney to lead learning and professional-development initiatives for a firm's Litigation and IP business units. This hands-on role will design, implement and evaluate training programs that support associate development, practice-group performance, and strategic priorities. The position may be based in any U.S. office.
The role partners with practice leaders, practice managers, lawyer development and innovation teams to set training strategy, run a Business Unit Training Council, manage training curricula and track individual training against benchmarks. A key focus is integrating legal technology and AI tools into practical training materials.
This is a collaborative role that blends curriculum design, stakeholder engagement and project management to advance a culture of continuous learning across litigation and IP teams.
- Licensed attorney with 7+ years' substantive experience.
- Demonstrated training, curriculum design or lawyer development experience.
- Strong project-management and presentation skills.
- Fluency with legal and workplace technology, including familiarity with AI-enabled tools.
- Experience in large law firm environments preferred.
