A leading global law firm is seeking associates to join its Global Finance Group, focused on leveraged finance transactions. The practice handles acquisition financings, refinancings, dividend recaps, liability management transactions, and restructuring-related financings.

Associates in this role draft and negotiate transaction documents and take a lead role in driving financing transactions, primarily representing borrowers and lead arrangers. The work spans syndicated lending and private credit/direct lending matters, with a strong emphasis on sponsor finance and LBO financing.

The position is open across multiple firm offices in major U.S. markets. Candidates must be admitted, or eligible for admission, to the bar in the state of the office to which they apply.

At least three years of experience with syndicated lending and/or private credit/direct lending
Experience representing borrowers or lead arrangers
Strong sponsor finance/LBO finance experience preferred
Skilled in drafting and negotiating transaction documents and leading financing transactions
Admitted or eligible for admission to the bar in the relevant office's state
