Litigation Associate — Maritime, Transportation & Energy, New York

Join a busy New York litigation team handling complex insurance coverage, commercial and defense matters across maritime, transportation and renewable energy sectors. The group regularly litigates and arbitrates high-value disputes in state and federal courts and provides trial and appellate support.

The role involves drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting legal research, preparing for and attending depositions, hearings and mediations, and supporting all phases of pretrial and trial work. You'll work on both coverage disputes and liability defence matters, often with an international or cross-border element.

• Admission to practice in New York
• 4–6+ years of litigation experience, with exposure to insurance coverage matters
• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
• Experience supporting depositions, hearings, mediations and trials
• Excellent organisation, time-management and ability to handle multiple sensitive, time‑critical matters
