An experienced Litigation Executive is sought to join a growing volume-based insurance litigation team in Manchester. The successful candidate will run a defendant caseload of litigated fast-track matters, handling all procedural aspects from issue through to trial.

The role involves managing approximately 50 files at any one time, with responsibilities spanning drafting pleadings, investigating and appraising liability prospects, valuing personal injury claims using JC Guidelines and case law, and assessing special damages. Candidates will negotiate settlements, prepare witness statements taken by telephone or video call, attend conferences with counsel, and conduct their own telephone advocacy.

Previous insurance litigation/fast-track experience
Experience running a defendant litigated fast-track caseload
Strong telephone negotiation and advocacy skills
Ability to value personal injury claims using JC Guidelines and case law
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisation and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment
Professional manner with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
