A leading US law firm seeks a highly qualified Counsel Attorney to join its Mass Torts Practice Group. This opportunity is available across multiple offices in South Carolina.

The successful candidate will join an active and dynamic litigation practice and work across all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions practice, and trial.

This is an off-track Counsel position with a reduced billable-hour requirement and does not carry expectations for business development or firm management responsibilities.

Minimum of three years of litigation experience
Licensed to practice law in South Carolina
Strong written and oral advocacy skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong legal research and analytical skills
Willingness to travel for court appearances and other proceedings
Background in insurance preferred but not required
