An Am Law 50 firm is seeking a mid-level corporate associate with 4–6 years of private equity experience to join its nationwide private equity team. The group represents private equity funds, independent sponsors, family offices, and their portfolio companies in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, growth and other financings, entity formation, and strategic alliances and joint ventures.

The practice frequently intersects with industry-focused teams spanning sectors such as healthcare, life sciences, technology, energy, and entertainment. The role offers early and expected client exposure, and associates are trained and supported as they grow in their careers.

This is an energetic and collaborative team with opportunities to work on sophisticated, multi-faceted transactions across a range of structures.

4–6 years of private equity transactional experience
Experience drafting and negotiating transaction agreements and documents
Ability to manage transaction closings and processes
Strong legal research, analysis, and communication skills
Exceptional organization and project management abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience supervising or mentoring more junior team members
Excellent academic credentials
Admission to the bar of the office state, or ability to obtain admission through reciprocity
