A leading law firm is seeking a mid-level litigation associate to join its New York office and take a significant role on complex commercial litigation matters.

The ideal candidate will independently manage matters through all phases of litigation, including overseeing all aspects of discovery, preparing for and taking depositions, conducting sophisticated legal research, and drafting substantive briefs and other written advocacy.

Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to supervise, mentor, and develop junior lawyers while serving in a lead role on case teams. Exceptional writing and analytical skills are required.

Significant experience handling complex commercial litigation matters
Ability to independently manage matters through all phases of litigation
Experience overseeing discovery and preparing for and taking depositions
Strong legal research and substantive brief-writing skills
Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor, and develop junior lawyers
Exceptional writing and analytical skills
Strong academic credentials and a proven record of success in complex litigation
Clerkship experience and training at a peer law firm preferred
Admission (or eligibility for prompt admission) to the New York bar
