Mid-Level Tax Associate — New York

Top-tier law firm in New York seeks a mid-level associate to join a busy Tax practice supporting transactional matters. The team advises on a wide range of tax issues arising in mergers & acquisitions, partnership and LLC structures, private equity and fund formation, real estate and REIT matters, and financing/capital markets transactions.

The role involves working closely with corporate colleagues on complex transactions, handling substantial components of deals independently, and collaborating on multi-disciplinary client work. The group values strong technical tax skills, excellent drafting and communication, and the ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced environment.

• J.D. (Class of 2022–2023 noted) and 3–4 years' transactional tax experience
• Experience with tax issues in M&A, partnership/LLC matters, fund formation, and related financing or real estate transactions
• Proven ability to work on teams and manage significant transaction components independently
• Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly; excellent written and verbal communication skills
