Of Counsel — Employment Litigation, Nashville

Senior employment-litigation role in the Nashville office of a national employer-side labor & employment practice. The position focuses on defending employers in court, arbitration, administrative proceedings and mediations, and providing counseling and training on workplace policies and compliance.

Typical matters include discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, non-compete and other employment tort and contract disputes, including class/collective actions. The role expects a trial-capable attorney who can manage cases first-chair and supervise associates and support staff.

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• 9+ years of employment litigation experience with significant first-chair trial and case-management experience
• Active Tennessee bar admission in good standing
• Experience supervising associates and paralegals; strong delegation and feedback skills
• Solid knowledge of state and federal agency procedures; class/collective action experience preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication, organization, time- and project-management skills
