Nationally focused employment law team is seeking an OSHA-focused associate to join its New Orleans office. The role centers on counseling and defending employers on workplace safety and health compliance under federal and state OSHA regimes, with support on related labor & employment matters as needed.

Day-to-day responsibilities include advising business clients on EH&S compliance, managing outside counsel and vendors on safety issues, handling OSHA-related litigation and administrative proceedings, participating in negotiations and mediations, and helping design training, policies and programmatic risk-reduction measures.

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active admission to the state bar of the associate’s primary office.
Minimum 3+ years' experience in employment litigation; OSHA-specific experience required.
Strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication, and proven ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Experience with class actions or public-sector clients is a plus; project and time-management skills expected.
