Seeking a lateral partner to join a national law firm’s Albany office to lead and grow a bankruptcy, restructuring and distressed-debt practice. The role combines courtroom and transactional work advising creditors, stakeholders and lenders on financially distressed matters.

The team handles creditor-side insolvency matters, out-of-court restructurings and distressed-debt transactions. The successful candidate will join an established platform and have autonomy to develop local and regional client relationships.

Established partner or counsel with significant experience in bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors' rights work.
Proven track record advising lenders, creditors' committees, or other financial stakeholders on insolvency and distressed-debt matters.
Demonstrable business development ability and willingness to grow a portable practice in the region.
Admission to the relevant state bar and strong litigation and transactional skills in insolvency-related matters.
