National law firm seeks a partner to lead and grow its bankruptcy, restructuring and finance practice in New Jersey. The role combines deal- and litigation-facing restructuring work with leveraged finance and debtor/creditor representation.

The team recently expanded its presence in the region and is recruiting an experienced partner to build a portable practice, supervise junior lawyers, and originate new business. This is a hands-on leadership role with a mix of client work and practice development.

Established partner with substantial experience in bankruptcy, restructuring and finance matters
Demonstrable track record of originating and managing client engagements; portable book of business required
Strong technical skills on insolvency, creditor/debtor representation and related finance transactions
Ability to supervise and mentor associates and to lead business development in the region
