Partner — Bankruptcy & Restructuring, New York

Leading national firm seeks a partner to join its New York bankruptcy and restructuring practice. The role is client-facing and combines courtroom and transactional restructuring work, including insolvency proceedings, creditor-side representation and out-of-court restructurings.

The successful candidate will lead matters, mentor junior lawyers, and work closely with practice leadership to grow and manage a busy practice. A demonstrable portable practice is required.

• Established partner-level experience in bankruptcy and restructuring (courtroom and transactional work)
• Proven ability to originate and manage client engagements and to bring portable business
• Strong team leadership and mentoring skills
• New York bar admission or eligibility
• Excellent written and oral advocacy and negotiation skills
