We are seeking a senior lateral partner to join a national practice group in Detroit, focusing on corporate transactional work across technology, energy and capital markets matters. The role combines lead-deal execution with client development, advising on M&A, tech transactions, project development and commercial arrangements in renewable and oil & gas sectors.

The successful candidate will help grow and lead a team of transactional lawyers, work closely with cross‑practice specialists, and originate business across corporate and energy-related practices. This is an opportunity to shape a market-facing practice in a major regional office.

Proven partner-level experience in M&A, corporate transactions and energy deals (renewables and oil & gas)
Track record of originating and closing complex deals; strong client relationships
Experience advising on technology/tech-enabled transactions and capital markets matters
Ability to lead and develop a team and collaborate across practices
Licensed to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or able to transfer admission
Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
