Established national law firm is expanding its Detroit finance and energy practice and seeks a partner to lead project finance and renewable energy matters. The role focuses on structuring and executing financings for utility-scale and distributed energy projects, working with lenders, sponsors and commercial counterparties.

This is a senior role with client-development and team leadership responsibilities. The team advises on project finance, acquisition financing, tax equity structures and related commercial arrangements within the renewables sector.

Partner-level experience in project finance and energy transactions, with a strong renewables background.
Proven track record of leading complex financings and managing deal teams.
Demonstrable client-development skills and a portable practice or established book of business focused on energy finance.
Active bar admission and ability to work from the Detroit office.
