Established national law firm seeking a partner to join its Houston corporate practice with a focus on transactional work across energy and technology sectors. The role centers on leading M&A and corporate transactions, advising on project development and commercial matters in renewables and oil & gas, and supporting capital markets and tech-related deals.

The successful candidate will have partner-level experience running complex corporate and transactional matters, a proven ability to originate and cultivate client relationships, and the capacity to work collaboratively across sector-focused teams. This is a partnership-track lateral opportunity where a portable practice or demonstrable origination history is valued.

Partner-level transactional experience (M&A, corporate deals, or capital markets)
Substantial experience advising on energy sector matters, including renewables and/or oil & gas project development
Experience with technology-related transactions is a plus
Proven client origination and relationship-management skills; ability to bring or grow a portable practice
Admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to obtain admission
