Partner, Corporate & Intellectual Property (Energy) — New York

We are seeking an experienced lateral partner to join a major US law firm’s New York office to lead and grow a combined corporate and intellectual property practice with a focus on energy and life sciences transactions.

The role involves leading M&A and private equity matters, advising on transactional IP issues for life‑science clients, and developing cross‑practice, client-facing relationships across corporate governance and energy sectors. The partner will collaborate with deal teams and senior lawyers to originate and manage high‑value matters.

• Significant partner‑level experience in M&A, private equity and transactional IP matters, preferably with life‑sciences and energy sector exposure
• Track record of originating and leading cross‑disciplinary transactions and managing client relationships
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with corporate, IP and energy teams and to mentor senior associates
• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
