Partner — Corporate & Intellectual Property (Huntsville)

Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Huntsville office with a focus on corporate transactions and intellectual property matters, including patent litigation. The role will collaborate with national practice teams to handle M&A, corporate governance, emerging-growth and IP disputes for a diverse client base.

Ideal candidates will have a portable practice or demonstrated client-development ability and will work closely with transactional and litigation colleagues across the firm to grow regional and national workstreams. The group is prioritizing partners with strong corporate or patent/IP litigation credentials, and interest in complementary practices such as ERISA, mass torts or emerging-growth/startup work is welcome.

• Established partner-level experience in corporate transactions and/or intellectual property litigation; patent litigation experience preferred where applicable.
• Proven client-development record and comfort with a portable or semi-portable practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively across transactional and litigation teams and to build a regional book of business.
• Active bar admission in the relevant state(s) or willingness to obtain admission.
