Leading Chicago-based law firm is actively hiring a lateral partner to grow its financial-buyer/private equity platform and to expand a healthcare transactional and regulatory team. The firm will consider candidates based outside Chicago for the right fit, though it values in-person collaboration.

There are two concurrent needs: (1) a partner to lead representation of financial buyers/PE platforms — ideally a younger partner with an established or developing PE practice; and (2) hires to build a healthcare group, including a transactional healthcare attorney plus one or two focused regulatory specialists (the firm is seeking a team, not a one-off hire).

Opportunities include income partner roles with potential for equity for candidates with larger portable books. The search is active.

Established partner-level experience representing financial buyers/private equity sponsors on middle-market M&A
For healthcare hiring: a transactional healthcare attorney and one or two focused regulatory specialists (not generalists)
