National corporate team at a highly regarded Canadian law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its corporate and securities practice. The role will focus on leading public and private securities transactions, advising on corporate/commercial matters and acting as a senior client contact.

The successful candidate will take on a mix of deal work and client development, supervising junior lawyers and collaborating with cross-practice teams on complex transactions and regulatory matters. The firm is looking for a visible rainmaker with an established client network.

Established partner-level experience in corporate and securities work (public and private capital markets).
Demonstrated track record of originating work and managing client relationships; a portable practice is required.
Proven ability to lead transactions and supervise teams.
Strong commercial judgment and familiarity with Canadian securities regulatory landscape.
Membership in good standing with a Canadian law society (or eligible for admission).
