Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow an employment & labor practice in the Sacramento office. The role will focus on employee benefits work, with particular emphasis on ESOP matters alongside general benefits counseling and plan design.

The partner will collaborate with a national team, working with in‑house and private‑sector clients across multiple industries. Candidates with a portable practice or a demonstrated ability to originate and expand client relationships will be prioritized.

Lateral partner with substantial experience in employee benefits and ESOP work.
Proven client-development skills and comfort managing a portable practice or building business within a platform.
Strong technical knowledge of benefit plan design, tax, and ERISA-related issues.
Active bar admission in the hiring jurisdiction (or ability to obtain) and experience supervising teams.
