Established national employment & labor practice is seeking a lateral partner to join its San Francisco team. The role focuses on employee benefits work with particular emphasis on ESOP matters alongside a broad benefits and executive compensation book.

The team advises employers across industries on plan design, compliance, transactions and disputes. Ideal candidates will play a senior client-facing role, lead matters, and help grow the local practice through business development and cross-office collaboration.

  • Proven partner-level experience in employee benefits, including substantial ESOP work
  • Track record of leading client matters and supervising teams
  • Business development capability; portable practice or demonstrated ability to generate new work
  • Admission to the California bar (or eligible to transfer), and ability to practice in the US
