Leading German firm is seeking a partner to join its Energy & Environmental practice in Cologne. The role focuses on advising energy sector clients and corporate or project stakeholders on environmental regulatory, permitting and transactional matters.

The appointment will involve a mix of mandate development, senior client advisory work and matter oversight across regulatory, compliance and transactional issues. The team advises on both domestic and cross-border matters and works closely with transactional and regulatory colleagues.

Established partner with a portable practice or demonstrable client development track record in energy and/or environmental law
Deep knowledge of German energy regulation, permitting and environmental compliance
Experience handling high-value transactional and advisory matters and leading deal teams
Fluent in German and English; admitted to practice in Germany
