Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Energy and Environmental practice in Dallas. The role will focus on advising energy-sector clients on regulatory, transactional and compliance matters and handling complex environmental work across state and federal jurisdictions.

The team combines technical regulatory experience with commercial deal capability; the role offers client-facing leadership, matter management and the opportunity to shape practice strategy locally. The group works across traditional energy clients and renewable/transition projects.

Open to candidates with an established practice and interest in business development; portable books of business are considered and will be valued in alignment with the firm’s industry groups.

Seasoned partner-level energy/environment lawyer with significant transactional and/or regulatory experience.
Proven client development record and ability to lead engagements and mentor junior lawyers.
Deep knowledge of energy-sector regulatory frameworks, environmental compliance, and related permitting or transactional processes.
Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-disciplinary teams on complex matters.
