The role will involve advising on renewable energy projects, gas regulatory issues, energy tax planning, and construction-related disputes and transactions.
The team serves a mix of developers, operators and contractors on transactional, regulatory and contentious matters. The firm is seeking a partner who can contribute immediately through client relationships and substantive experience across energy, tax and maritime-regulatory workstreams.
- Partner-level experience in energy-related transactional, regulatory and tax matters; experience with renewable energy and gas regulation preferred
- Demonstrable experience advising on construction and maritime-related matters
- Proven business development capability and portable client relationships appropriate for a partner hire
- Admission to practice in Texas or eligibility to obtain admission
