A leading US law firm is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen its Energy and Environmental practice in New Orleans. The role will involve leading client engagements across regulatory, transactional and infrastructure matters, advising on project development, permitting, environmental compliance and related commercial work.

The team works across public- and private-sector matters and collaborates with other practice groups on multidisciplinary transactions. The firm is looking for a senior lawyer able to bring deep technical knowledge, project leadership and established client relationships.

Established partner-level experience in energy and environmental law, with a record of handling regulatory, permitting and infrastructure-related matters.
Proven ability to originate and manage client relationships; portable practice or demonstrable business development success preferred.
Comfort working on multidisciplinary transactions and coordinating across teams (e.g., project development, permitting, finance).
Strong litigation-avoidance and regulatory counseling skills; experience before state and federal agencies advantageous.
