Partner, Energy & Environmental — New York

We are seeking a lateral partner to join a leading practice focused on energy and environmental matters. The role will involve advising on complex energy and infrastructure transactions, regulatory and environmental issues, and cross-disciplinary matters for clients in the sector.

The team operates on a location-agnostic basis with a New York presence; the practice evaluates candidates on a sliding scale and offers competitive billing arrangements. The hire will have a front-facing role on client work and play a central part in business development and firm strategy for the energy group.

• Partner-level experience in energy, environmental or infrastructure matters.
• Proven track record of originating or leading transactions and ability to manage complex deals or regulatory matters.
• Established client relationships and business development skills; a portable practice is welcomed.
• Admission to practice in New York or ability to obtain admission is preferred.
