Partner, Energy & Environmental — Washington, D.C.

An appointment at partner level on this brief is decided by what the practice can carry across, more than on any single number.

Senior partner-level opportunity to lead and grow an established energy and environmental practice in Washington, D.C. The role will focus on tax, regulatory and project aspects of energy transactions, with significant work touching on renewables, oil & gas, maritime and construction-related matters.

The successful candidate will take a leadership role on business development and client relationships, collaborate with cross-practice teams on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters, and mentor senior associates and counsel within the group.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Significant partner-level experience in energy, environmental or tax work, including project and transactional mandates
• Proven track record of originating and leading complex matters in renewables, oil & gas, infrastructure, maritime or construction sectors
• Strong client development, team leadership and mentoring skills
