Experienced partner-level lawyer sought to join a leading international firm’s Washington, D.C. office to lead and grow its Energy and Environmental practice. The role focuses on transactional, regulatory and permitting work across energy and infrastructure projects, advising developers, investors and public-sector clients on complex matters.

The team handles cross-disciplinary matters that intersect environmental law, energy regulation and infrastructure development. Candidates should be able to originate work and, where applicable, bring a portable practice; business development and leadership within the practice group will be expected.

  • Established partner with substantial experience in energy and environmental law, including infrastructure projects.
  • Track record advising on transactional and regulatory/permitting matters at the state and federal level.
  • Proven business development skills and ability to originate or grow client relationships; portable book of business welcomed.
  • Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to work in Washington, D.C.
