Partner, Energy & Environmental — Washington, D.C.

Senior partner opportunity to lead and grow a market-facing Energy & Environmental practice in Washington, D.C. The role will advise developers, utilities and corporates on regulatory, transactional and project-related matters across the energy and environmental space.

You will join a global team and work on cross-border and US-focused mandates, coordinating with regulatory, transactional and disputes specialists. The team is looking for an experienced rainmaker who can originate and manage high-value client work and mentor junior lawyers.

• Established partner with significant experience in energy and/or environmental law.
• Proven client development record; ideally brings a portable book of business.
• Deep knowledge of US energy markets and regulatory regimes; experience on transactional and project work.
• Strong team leadership, business development and relationship-management skills.
• Admission to practice in the relevant US jurisdiction or eligibility to obtain admission.
