Partner — Energy & Regulatory, Washington, D.C.

Leading international law firm is seeking a partner to join its Washington, D.C. energy practice with a strong focus on regulatory, project finance and related transactional work. The role will advise on energy and environmental matters, financings and government/public regulatory issues across conventional and renewable energy projects.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience advising developers, sponsors, lenders or government clients on complex project financings and regulatory matters. The firm is particularly interested in candidates with energy & natural resources or government/regulatory backgrounds who can develop client relationships and lead deal teams.

• Portable book of business of $6$“8M+ (USD)
• Significant partner-level experience in energy, project finance or regulatory work
• Proven ability to originate and develop client relationships and to lead deal teams
• Admitted or able to practice in Washington, D.C., with strong transactional and regulatory drafting skills
