A leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Des Moines office to build and lead work in finance and insurance matters. The role will involve originating and managing transactions and high-value advisory matters across the finance and insurance spectrum while mentoring a growing local team.

The team handles a broad range of commercial finance and insurance-related matters, excluding insurer coverage-defense work. The firm is investing in market growth in the region and is looking for a partner with an established practice and the ability to develop client relationships and bring new business.

Established partner with significant experience in finance and insurance matters
Proven track record of originating and managing client work at the partnership level
Comfortable leading a team and developing business in the region; portable practice/book of business preferred
Strong technical skills in transactional and advisory finance or insurance work
