Partner — Intellectual Property, Austin

Leading law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Intellectual Property practice in Austin. The role will focus on developing and leading IP matters across prosecution, counseling, and contentious work for a diverse client base.

The role requires a senior attorney who can build and manage a portable practice, work collaboratively with cross‑disciplinary teams, and mentor junior lawyers. The position offers significant client-facing responsibility and a platform to grow IP revenues in the region.

• Established partner-level IP lawyer with significant experience in prosecution, portfolio management, and/or IP litigation or counseling.
• Licensed to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s); active bar admission required.
• Proven track record of business development; a portable practice or demonstrated ability to originate and grow client relationships preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills and experience leading client teams.
