Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to expand a cross-disciplinary IP, corporate and technology practice in Northern Virginia. The role focuses on IP litigation and transactional work alongside corporate M&A, private equity and capital markets matters for clients across technology, life sciences, financial services and energy sectors.

The partner will originate and lead matters, work with established teams across practice groups, and help grow the regional platform through client development and sector-focused business generation. The team handles technology transactions, emerging-growth company matters, PE-driven M&A and issuer-side capital markets work.

Portable book of business of $4M+ (USD)
Proven partner-level track record in IP and corporate work, including technology transactions and M&A
Experience leading teams and originating client relationships in target sectors (technology, life sciences, financial services, energy)
Strong business development skills and ability to collaborate across corporate and IP practices
